Was woken up by my mom just to be told I’m worthless for not doing anything productive the past two months even though I’ve had a broken rib and haven’t been allowed to drive, and then had the flu the past 8 days I’ve been able to drive. Also I found out that the 3 hours of private lessons I got for christmas 2 years ago got thrown away when my room was cleaned to deal with water damage. All of this would most likely upset anyone else, but today is still a new day, and a gift from God. I won’t let my mom’s bad mood and unfortunate events keep me down and steal my joy. I’m so thankful for everything I have and my life. Thank you Lord for staying with me.
Dang…props to you dude. I wouldn’t be as optimistic as you were I in your shoes.
