Actually, I like marketing research, so…perhaps you like free stuff?? Actually I wouldn’t give away my product for free. Or at least not without getting something worth my time in return. Like your credit card information. And your social security number

Ethan, I think there’s a reason we’re all answering with “Yes, hello?”. There’s a deeper reason for it all I think…perhaps something that’s been planted in our minds. An idea. An idea that has become our reality.

I picked up 6 knit ties a few months ago for a quarter a piece, but I’ve never actually worn any of them, and that’s for two reasons. One, they’re not very popular around my particular part of the world, in fact I’ve never seen anyone wear one. I’d probably feel a bit more comfortable wearing one in somewhere with a more street style environment. Two, they’re actually about 4” shorter than most of my other ties, so getting a decent length for the narrow and wide parts of the ties can be a bit difficult. However, I believe I have found a solution. Tie pins. I’m not a huge fan of tie pins because I’m not very fond of poking holes in ties that I’ve spent a bit of money on. With a knit tie though, I don’t think the holes will actually show up, plus it will take care of the length issues.

todaystie:

Twist ItIn Milan, a rakish gent will twist the skinny length of his tie at the knot so that it runs alongside (instead of behind) the wider length.
Reverse ItYou can also try tying the skinny length longer than the wider length. Yes, it’s affected. That’s the whole point.
Tuck ItIf you’re feeling more military than Milan, tuck your tie between your third and fourth buttons. Think Sinatra and Clift in From Here to Eternity.

I’d twist it or tuck it but you couldn’t pay me to reverse it.

Tonight was really cool…I think it was kinda a date. I can’t really be sure, formally it wasn’t, but still.

I can guarantee that you didn’t.

I don’t wear hats, but if I ever have to come into work and do maintenance or something, I’ll wear this.
